Driver Guide

Francis was born and raised in Entebbe, Uganda and still resides there with his family, near the shores of the picturesque Lake Victoria.

After completing secondary school, Francis pursued a career in tourism and earned a Diploma in ‘Tourism, Tours & Travel.’ Since 2007, he has honed his skills as a driver guide throughout Uganda, and attended training courses in hotel management, tourism and general guiding.

Francis’ favorite animal is the elephant as “they carefully associate with other animals, peacefully, unless it acts in self-defense.” Kidepo Valley National Park is one of his favorite wildlife locations in Uganda, known for its expansive, remote wilderness.

He always enjoys interacting with people – Ugandans and visitors, alike, and has a great sense of humor. Francis is rarely seen without a smile on his face and he is eager to share his passion for Uganda with his guests.
