Ndali Lodge is perched on the ridgeline overlooling the Nyinambuga crater lake in just outside Fort Portal and near the Kibale Forest National Park. The family-run lodge is one of the most scenic and welcoming spots we know of in all of Uganda! 

Each of the 8 homey cottages offers en-suite accommodation, comfortable linens and mattresses and soaking tubs (ample hot water!) with views of the surrounding countryside. Several cottages feature outdoor garden showers. Cottages offer filtered drinking water, luxury bath amenities, USB charging points and power plugs. 

The true heart of the lodge is the fireside bar and study adjacent to the dining room. Here, with the fire roaring nightly, guests recount the days' adventures and unwind from their travels. Dinner is served by candlelight and features a variety of gourmet options all using farm-fresh produce, dairy and meats from both the Ndali Estate and nearby farms. 

Below the lodge, the crater lake is the perfect spot for birdwatching or trying out the stand-up paddle boards. After a hike around the lake, take a relaxing soak in the hand constructed Finnish-style sauna. As the stars start to glow in the equatorial sky, Aubrey, lodge owner, often shares his love of star-gazing with his impressive telescope housed in the main lodge.
